What is the course information for Quail Hollow Club? A recurrent top ten among the PGA Tour’s hardest courses, Quail Hollow hosts its second Wells Fargo edition since a year off to host the 2017 PGA Championship. The course ranked as the fifth toughest on tour last season, in advance of two major venues (Augusta National and Bellerive). The famous closing stretch – holes, 16, 17 and 18 – dubbed the “Green Mile”, is one of the toughest stretches on the rota and makes for an exciting finish.

THE HISTORY
The 2017 edition was held Eagle Point Golf Club to cater for the PGA Championship. Rory McIlroy holds the tournament record for lowest winning total and largest winning margin in 2015 around a course where he also won his first PGA Tour event. Although Quail Hollow is one of the toughest courses on tour, scoring has still been relatively low with an average total of 13 under par in the past ten editions. Only twice in tournament history has the winning score been in single digits (2013 & 2016). There have been four playoffs since 2009.
