Statistical Analysis

Golf statistics have come a long way in recent years with the introduction of strokes-gained. This allows us to see how players perform in their respective skill areas against the rest of the field. For example, hitting 8/14 fairways around one course might be quite poor and yet around a different one may be one of the highest in the tournament.

Making sure you record and analyse your statistics correctly is vital to being able to get better! If you don’t know what your strengths and weaknesses are, then you are simply guessing at what needs practising. Therefore meaning you never truly understand why are not recording better scores on the course.
